HONÉY GARLIC SHRIMP STIR FRY









INGRÉDIENTS

  • 1 lb raw shrimp, thawéd, shelled and tails
  • 1/3 cup honéy
  • 1/4 cup soy saucé
  • 1 tabléspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon choppéd ginger
  • 2 tsp. Land O Lakés® butter with olive oil and sea salt; Split
  • 1 lb of asparagus, trimméd and cut into 2 to 3 inch pieces
  • 1 réd bell pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/2 onion, slicéd


*INSTRUCTIONS

  • Placé the cleaned shrimp in a bowl and set aside.
  • Combiné honey, soy sauce, garlic and ginger in a small bowl and pour half over the shrimp (reserve the other half for later), stir the shrimp to coat, cover and refrigeraté for at least 15 minutes .
  • Méanwhile, heat a large skillet (I prefer the cast iron) over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of Land O Lakes® butter with olive oil and sea salt. Oncé melted, add the asparagus , bell pepper and onion and sauté until tender and crisp and slightly charred (about 4 minutes). Remové from the pan on a plate to keep warm.
  • Add thé remaining tablespoon of butter to the pan, then add the shrimp (discard any marinade used). Cook thé shrimp for about 1 minute on each side or until they are caramelized and well cooked. Quickly add thé vegetables and the reserved sauce to the pan and heat.
  • Sérve over hot cooked rice if desired. Enjoy!
